What’s new Timer by LogicFire.app

What has changed, month by month, in plain words. It covers what you can see and use. Fixes to how the site keeps itself safe are summed up in a line rather than spelt out, so this page never helps anyone look for a way in.

October 2026

  • Give a new to-do a date as you add it: a Date button beside the box, or end what you type with a day, like “tomorrow” or “friday”. The date shows before you press Enter, and you can take it off.
  • Topics now shows your average run for each subject: how long you usually stay on it before stopping.
  • The floating timer wears your theme, and a Return button brings the timer back.
  • Pick a theme when you create an account. Your theme now follows your account to your other devices, unless you set a browser to keep its own.
  • The Chrome extension is up to date, and you can download it from the guide.
  • This page.
  • Sign-in code emails come in your theme, and the photo on the guide and privacy page takes on its colours.
  • A to-do list beside the timer, made with ADHD in mind: My Day, steps, dates, reminders, and time that adds up on each task.
  • New colour themes, Cream, Slate and Dusk, beside Paper, each with a high-contrast version.
  • Categories can be marked “Not counted”, so their time stays out of your numbers.
  • Copy today or this week into Notion or another notes app, or download a CSV.
  • A notification that stays put while a run or break is going.
  • Subject names can have spaces.
  • See how your numbers spread out over time.
  • The timer keeps going if you close the page, and signing in partway through a run keeps that run.
  • An offer to install the timer as an app on phones and computers.
  • Floating timer: add 5 minutes, end the session, and turn the keyboard shortcuts off if you like.
  • Keep going past zero, keep the screen awake, and get gentle notifications.
  • Focus room: an anonymous count of how many people are focusing right now.
  • Guess how long something will take, then see the real time.
  • Groups show days this month beside the streak.
  • Visual timer pages, and a “This week” summary.
  • Invite links for groups. Groups can have up to eight people, more than one admin, and an owner who can hand over.
  • Simple or full layout. Use the timer without signing up, and bring your history with you if you make an account later.
  • Sign in with an email code as well as a passkey.
  • Three calm background sounds: plane cabin, rainforest and ocean.
  • A fresh look: the timer as an instrument with a logbook, and time drawn as a disc.
  • A user guide, with a one-minute short version at the top.
  • A privacy page, and a privacy choices link that works on every page.
  • Ads on some pages, kept out of the way of the timer, with a way to hide them.
  • Make your own subject categories: create them, rename them, drag to fill them.
  • A consistency score for each day, with bars coloured by it and a 180-day view. One rough run now counts for less.
  • Check a day’s runs and remove one that started by mistake.
  • Each day’s total drawn as a dotted line through the bars.
  • Extra confirmation before sensitive account changes.
  • Behind-the-scenes improvements to security, reliability and accuracy.

  • Breaks: record them, with an alarm loud enough to hear from the next room.
  • Your week shows work and rest side by side.
  • A running total line and a 90-day view.
Aug

August 2026

  • The focus timer launched, with a clear layout that is easy to read.
  • Accounts with passkeys, and recovery codes in case you lose a device.
  • Your runs are saved to your account.
  • Groups with a friendly leaderboard, a place to write what you’re working on, and soft interface sounds.
  • Export your data or delete your account at any time.
  • Body doubling: see that others are focusing alongside you.
  • A Chrome extension.
  • The timer keeps counting when its tab is in the background.
  • Add 5 minutes to a run, and a distraction pauses the clock instead of restarting it.
  • Manage your passkeys, and account recovery no longer leaves you stuck.
  • The timer remembers what you work on and offers suggestions. Your topics stay private.
  • Pick a subject, then just name the task.
