Timers
Every timer here
Seven ways to time something, all free and all in the browser. Pick the one that fits what you are about to do.
Which one?
- Starting is the hard part today. The 15 minute timer.
- One long task, such as a draft. The 45 minute timer.
- A past paper under time. The 1 hour timer.
- Revision across several subjects. The study timer.
- Focus and breaks taking turns by themselves. The Pomodoro timer.
- A countdown a whole room can see. The visual timer.
- Counting up from zero. The stopwatch.
Any other length works on the focus timer too. Press Custom under the clock and type any whole number of minutes from 1 to 360.
Focus timers that keep a record
These are one timer, opened at different lengths. Each press of I got distracted logs how long that stretch lasted, and the record under the clock adds them up day by day. Your runs stay in this browser, or on every device with a free account.
- 15 minute focus timer
Short enough to start on a hard day, with five more minutes a press away.
- 45 minute focus timer
Room for work that needs to warm up first, then a 10 minute break.
- 1 hour focus timer
Timed practice for exams, with the whole hour on the disc.
- Study timer
Your usual length, for revision, with your runs sorted by subject once you have a free account.
- The focus timer
Opens at the length you used last. The guide explains every part.
Timers that keep no record
These three send nothing once they have loaded, and they keep no runs. They suit a screen in a classroom or a meeting, or a time you only need once.
- Visual timer
A full screen disc from 1 minute to 2 hours, for a room to watch.
- Pomodoro timer
25 minutes of focus and 5 of rest by default, with a longer break after every fourth focus.
- Stopwatch
Counts up from 0:00 into the hours, full screen if you like.
